Narcotext is a program designed for anesthesiology. It has the ability to register the patient's, the surgeon's and the lab exam's data. It also records the beginning and the end of the anesthesia and the surgical procedure, registers vital signs, with the frequency desired by the anesthetist, records the administered trans-operatory IV fluids and many other details to numerous to list. Ideally the program is to be used on a notebook computer, easily transported to the operating room. The initial data such as patient identification, surgeon's name, surgical procedure and type of anesthesia can be inserted the day before or a few minutes before beginning the anesthetic procedure.
